Sujatha Rao

Sujatha’s interest and areas of expertise lie within the broad field of organisational strategy, leadership, designand technology with a focus on social purpose organisations. She has worked in and consulted widely in the areas of organisational development, leadership, executive development and in vocational and school education across private, not-for-profit and public sectors both in India and overseas. Her focus over the last decade has been working in education. Within education, her special interest has been in the organizational development of educational institutions, particularly schools.Sujatha has worked in the area of vocational education wherein she focused on structuring educational opportunities for disadvantaged communities such as migrant groups and indigenous populations and with schools on school improvement and development. She has also been a consultant for various organizations on organizational restructuring, leadership development and change management initiatives.
Sujatha has taught at the University of Western Sydney, University of Sydney, Azim Premji University and is currently a member of the Academic group at the Indian School of Development Management. She holds a Post Graduate Degree in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from XLRI Jamshedpur, and a PhD in Organisational Studies from the University of Sydney.
